Bromford extends contract with Wates Living Space
Wolverhampton-based housing association, Bromford, has extended its repairs and maintenance agreement with contractor Wates Living Space for a further five years, following a successful five-year partnership in the Midlands.
The framework extension will see the contractor modernise approximately 2,250 kitchens and 1,400 bathrooms in the area. The Wates Living Space repairs and maintenance team will also undertake electrical work and install level access showers for residents.
Wates Living Space employs four SME businesses from the area to support its delivery of the £2m per annum framework. Work will take place in Wolverhampton, Shrewsbury, Tamworth, Telford, Stoke, Lichfield and Oswestry.
Stewart Reid, business director for Wates Living Space, commented: “We have a fantastic relationship with the team at Bromford and we’re pleased to be working together for another five years. We’ve completed some great housing maintenance work for their customers so far and look forward to continuing this record.”
Marc Goldby, head of investment for Bromford commented: “Our partnership with Wates Living Space has been very successful so we’re delighted to trigger the extension of this agreement.”
