Sheffield United announces sponsorship deal with 170-year old company
Sheffield United has announced a new sponsorship deal with Chapeltown-based cutting tool solutions company Presto.
The company’s 170-year history sees it placed firmly in Sheffield’s strong industrial heritage, and Blades’ head of commercial Paul Reeves has described the tie-up as “another great local business partner” for the Club.
Paul said: “We are thrilled to get Presto on board as our latest Club sponsor and it represents another local commercial partnership for Sheffield United.
“The company is synonymous with Sheffield’s proud industrial history and it’s fantastic that they are able to back the Club in this way. We look forward to working with them over the remainder of the season and beyond.”
The new partnership will see the Presto logo feature on the training bibs of the first team.
John McDonald, operations director at Presto, said: “We are extremely proud and delighted to be working with Sheffield United, a club which is close to our hearts.
“This is the first time that we have become commercial partners with a football club and we are really looking forward to working with the Blades and their supporters.
“We hope that this is the start of a long-term relationship.”
