Taylor&Emmet Brings Medical Negligence to Book
Specialist solicitors from Sheffield’s Taylor&Emmet LLP are heading to Worksop Library to help victims of surgical or medical negligence find the professional help they need.
Local residents are invited to a free drop in session run by the firm’s clinical negligence experts who will be offering free, no obligation advice about potential cases.
Taylor&Emmet solicitor, Camilla Attwood, will be based at the library on Memorial Way, Worksop on January 28, from 3pm to 5pm. She will speak privately to anyone who feels they may not have received the correct care or treatment and answer questions about how the claim process works, funding and realistic outcomes.
Camilla, a Worksop resident herself, specialises in all types of clinical negligence and works for both local and national clients. She said: “Prolonged suffering or injury caused by a failure in the health care system can leave patients feeling helpless, particularly if their complaint is not handled properly. As mobility and access can be an issue for some, we want to make it easier to find the right advice locally by bringing our free drop in sessions to communities outside Sheffield.”
All medical practitioners have a duty to take reasonable care when managing patients. If this does not happen, Taylor&Emmet’s friendly, professional solicitors investigate cases and pursue claims for compensation on their clients’ behalf.
For more information about Taylor&Emmet’s clinical negligence services, drop into Worksop Library between 3pm and 5pm on January 28, call (0114) 218 4000 to make an appointment in advance or visit www.tayloremmet.co.uk
