Daresbury’s Converge Technology to focus on law firms
Daresbury-based Converge Technology is specialising and focussing only on law firms over the next 36 months.
The cloud provider for law firms’s revenue grew by 45% last year against a revenue growth of 100% for the year prior to that.
The company gets 70% of its revenue from long term or returning contracts and currently has 85% of its business from law firms.
Looking ahead it aims to solely focus on law firms as new clients as it sees the traditional law firm model changing towards a more IT focussed route.
The majority of its businesses are based in the North West however it does have clients all over the UK.
MD Nigel Wright said: “The reasons we win business are we are specialists in our sector, with great testimonials and we deliver services that tick all of a law firms compliance boxes, we have lots of experience in the sector.
The challenges we face are growth based, we want to win bigger firms and we have made changes to address that challenge.
“Our business plan is one of organic growth however we would also consider acquisitions as a means to expanding into other locations.
“We have a 99% client retention rate, it’s all about relationships, it’s all about working really closely with law firms and taking it full circle it’s also about looking after our own staff.”
