Darlington’s Harvey & Hugo partners with Mowden Park rugby club
Darlington-based PR and social media agency, Harvey & Hugo has expanded its sporting portfolio by entering into a partnership with thriving rugby club, Mowden Park.
The recently promoted club is going from strength to strength and is on track to consolidate its position in demanding National League One.
Sport has always been an integral part of life for the managing director of the agency, having played water polo for Great Britain’s junior team and swam to a national level.
With performances on the pitch going to plan Mowden Park is looking to solidify their arena as one of the premier events and business arenas within the North East.
The deal has come after the recent announcement to help Darlington Football Club launch its ‘Heading Home’ campaign. The high flying agency has also recently agreed terms with Redcar Racecourse for a second year of support, further positioning themselves as experts in the sports and leisure fields.
Managing director Charlotte Nichols said: “Sport has always been a passion for me and now I’ve got the opportunity to combine two of the things that I feel so strongly about, Public Relations and Sport.
“Mowden Park has got so much to offer the local community, it’s our pleasure to help it reach its full potential off the field through public relations support”.
Managing director at Mowden Park Lee Rust said: “I’m delighted that we have completed the partnership agreement with Harvey & Hugo. They are a forward thinking local firm with a wealth of experience in their sector.
“The partnership represents another key piece in our development plan for both the Club and the Arena.
“We’re very much looking forward to working with Charlotte and her team and raising the profile of what is going on at the Mowden Park, not just as a sports club, but also as an event and business hub for the region.”
