Inspiring Young People At The Skills Show
Yorkshire based communications firm, Words&Pictures, is set to step into the spotlight at the UK’s largest skills and careers event, designed to inspire young people.
Specialist communicator, Clare Addy, Head of Digital & Engagement at Words&Pictures, will deliver a spotlight session at The Skills Show which is being held at the NEC, Birmingham, November 13th – 15th. She’ll share the stage with organisations including Mac, JP Morgan, Next, Volvo and the NHS.
Supported by one of the UK’s most high profile businessmen and Dragons’ Den star, Theo Paphitis, the event covers the space of over twelve football pitches and is one of the most significant events in the youth engagement calendar. Clare Addy will address the topic of ‘The Importance of Individuality’, which explores self-esteem, independence, social good, diversity, teamwork, motivation and personal development.
Clare Addy’s session, which she has also presented at The Bradford Skills Show, forms the basis of a longer workshop accredited as part of Words&Pictures’ affiliation with the Children’s University. It inspires young people to think about their own strengths, how they can lift their aspirations, encourages them to increase participation in the things that make them feel great, and achieve their goals.
Word&Pictures’ team of specialist project managers, designers, writers, digital experts, photographers and video professionals work in close partnership with schools and colleges throughout the UK helping them to build their communications profile.
