Advanced Legal responds to LAA's requirements with CUE
Leading legal software provider, Advanced Legal (Advanced), today announces the completion of the early adopter stage of its Claims Utility Engine (CUE) designed to support legal firms that need to electronically submit claims to the Legal Aid Agency’s (LAA) new Client and Costs Management System (CCMS).
The LAA has announced this week that from 1st October 2015 it will be mandatory for all firms that need to submit civil applications to the LAA to use their new Client and Cost Management System (CCMS).
The LAA introduced CCMS as an online system designed to expedite the management of civil and family certificated legal aid cases. Advanced Legal’s CUE will allow solicitors and barristers who use Advanced’s solutions to easily submit claims electronically using the CCMS claims import facility - thereby avoiding the need to re-key claims in full.
Working in conjunction with the LAA and its recent Claim Upload Project, Advanced has now completed the early adopter phase of CUE’s development as it moves into a live environment for customers.
Doug Hargrove, Managing Director of Advanced Legal commented; “The CUE system sits across the vast majority of products in our portfolio and provides real value to any client that needs to use the CCMS. Its introduction so closely after the announcement by the LAA will enable users to quickly take advantage of the Agency’s solution by removing data duplication and saving time submitting entries.”
CUE is available from February 2015 – any legal firms interested in finding out more should call 0844 815 5575.
Advanced Legal is a division of Advanced Computer Software Group plc, a leading supplier of software and IT services to the health, care and business services sectors. In 2014, the Group won Tech Company of the Year in PwC’s UK Tech Awards and ranked in the Deloitte UK Technology Fast 50, which recognises the 50 fastest growing technology companies in the UK.
