Barratt Homes’ industry-leading training goes global
Five star housebuilder Barratt Homes has been showcasing its industry-leading training and construction skills to a business delegation from India.
The delegates visited Barratt’s Nursery Fields development in Havant where they saw first-hand the benefit of training for a wide range of construction staff.
Barratt’s community liaison manager Anthony Dimmick said the visit had been arranged in conjunction with Highbury College which has strong links with the Indian company and is working with the firm to improve its training facilities.
“Our visitors have a construction division in India and are keen to improve their training facilities,’’ said Anthony. “We are committed to a comprehensive training programme for our staff and it was a great opportunity to show the delegation the benefit of our schemes.’’
During their fact-finding visit the party met with site personnel and key Barratt staff who gave the delegates an insight to its industry leading training and development programmes.
