Bibby Line Group to host ball for charity
Bibby Line Group is preparing to host a ‘Spectacular Speakeasy Ball’ at one of Liverpool’s most prestigious luxury hotels, to help raise funds for the Prince’s Trust Fairbridge Programme through the Zero to Hero challenge.
Zero to Hero, set up by the Prince’s Trust, encourages businesses to take part in a team building challenge by executing an entrepreneurial fundraising idea.
All of the proceeds will go towards helping young people in the local Merseyside area as part of the Trust’s Fairbridge Programme, which offers teenagers and young adults from troubled backgrounds the chance to get their lives back on track through one-to-one support and a range of group activities.
2015 marks the 6th year in a row that Bibby Line Group has participated in the challenge to raise funds for the Prince’s Trust. This year will see the team hold a fancy dress ball and dinner at the Titanic Hotel’s Rum Warehouse in Liverpool on the 19th March 2015.
An awards ceremony for participants in the Prince’s Trust Zero to Hero challenge will also be hosted by Bibby Line Group on the night, attracting many of the city’s most prestigious businesses to attend the ball.Weightmans LLP, Kiddy & Partners LLP and Bibby Financial Services Limited are supporting this fabulous event by sponsoring the awards which will be given on the night.
Heading up the team of employees and the event is Vicki Wyllie, PA to the Directors of Bibby Line Group. Commenting on the ‘Spectacular Speakeasy Ball’, she said: “The team at Bibby Line Group are really excited to be able to put this event together.
“We have had amazing support from a wide range of businesses and individuals which we hope will be reflected in the success of the evening, promising drama, excitement, good food and live music with excellent prizes for the best fancy dress outfit!
“One of the key things about this competition and the funds we raise is that despite The Princes Trust being a national charity, all the funds will stay in the local area, making a real difference to the lives of young people in the community in which we work.”
Hannah Wright from the Prince’s Trust added: “It is often those from the most vulnerable backgrounds who end up furthest from the job market – and it is these young people that the Fairbridge programme seek to help.
“We wouldn’t be able to have the huge impact in Merseyside that we do, without the fantastic corporate support of businesses like Bibby Line Group through their involvement in Zero to Hero.”
Tables for the evening are still available for both businesses and individuals. More information can be found on the event website at http://spectacularspeakeasyball.weebly.com
