MERJE, the Manchester-based recruitment consultancy, has increased its profit by 25% in the last 12 months.
It has also grown its turnover by 120% to £3.76m for the year 2014, following the end of the financial year.
Launched in October 2011, the agency’s success has been spearheaded by a number of high profile contract wins, with MERJE signing terms with new clients in the last six months including VISA, Centrica, Barratt Developments PLC, Ernst & Young, BDO and the Co-Operative Group.
MERJE has continued to expand with the total number of staff increasing to 18 in the last 12 months, the headcount expected to reach up to 30 by the end of 2015.
Director, Jonathan Abelson, said: “Our significant growth is not just down to the development of our client portfolio, it can also be attributed to the team.
“Each member of our staff has an extensive background in their target sector, providing dedicated expertise to our network of clients and candidates.”
