Sheffield telematics firm set to exceed £4 million turnover just 3 years after launch

Sheffield telematics organisation The Floow is expecting turnover to exceed £4 million in 2015 as a result of further expansion and new clients wins, just three years after it was established.

The firm already operates in multiple countries including the UK, Ireland and the US, earlier this year the business announced the launch of its latest project in partnership with RSA Group’s Scandinavian arm – Codan.

Producing analytics based on telematics data from smartphones and other devices, captured on behalf of clients including some of the world’s leading insurance companies, The Floow has been recognised as one of the industry’s innovators.

From its base in Sheffield, the organisation now processes in excess of 120,000 journeys every day, from many thousands of drivers utilising The Floow’s technology across four continents.

The 40-strong team, based predominantly in Sheffield, is made up of made up of eminent members from the fields of Computer Science, Data and Actuarial Sciences Psychology and Automotive.
