Salon searches for most glamorous mother/daughter-in-law
With Mother’s Day fast approaching, the new Beauty & Holistic Lounge on Water Street is searching for the city’s most glamorous mother and daughter-in-law.
To celebrate the success of the family-run salon’s relocation to larger premises last month, directors/mother and daughter-in-law duo Karen and Lisa Graham want to add a unique twist to Mother’s Day merriments by ‘putting in-laws in the spotlight’.
From Monday, March 2 the pair will take to Twitter in the hopes of finding Liverpool’s most ‘über-glam’ mother and daughter-in-law, who once chosen, will receive the ultimate pamper day just in time for Mother’s Day.
Lisa said: “Mother’s Day is the perfect time to truly spoil the special women in your life. As many of us have a great relationship with our mother-in-laws, (I’ve been working with mine for eight years!) it’s time to let them shine too!“
The lucky ladies will be treated to a Caci Super Non-Surgical Facelift (1.5 hour treatment worth £75), a Wash and Blow (30 minutes worth £15) and a Shellac Manicure (worth £20) each.
For a chance to win, just tweet “MY MUM/DAUGHTER IN LAW IS …….” and describe them in three words to @LoungeHolistic, along with both names, ages and the hash tag #lovemum.
Karen added: “Not only will the winners get to enjoy a wonderful selection of pampering treatments - they will also be able to relax and unwind in our luxurious new venue, whilst spending quality time together.
“So if you think you’re Liverpool’s most glam pair, be sure to get tweeting your best photos!“
Entries close on Tuesday, March 10 at midnight. The winners will be chosen on March 11 and the prize must be claimed on Friday, March 13 ahead of Mother’s Day (Sunday, March 15).
