Demand outstrips supply at new development near Altrincham

Prospect Homes are reporting exceptional demand for new homes at their Met 32 development off Deansgate Lane in Timperley, near Altrincham, where all 19 properties on the opening phase have now been sold or reserved from plan.

Met 32 has been inundated with enquiries and a range of three and four bedroom semi-detached, detached and mews homes have been snapped up without a showhome or completed property to view. Numerous prospective purchasers have already registered their interest in the nine forthcoming releases on the second phase, which will comprise a similar choice of properties designed to a high specification.

Collette Riding, Sales Manager at Prospect Homes, said: “When Prospect Homes acquired the land next to the Bridgewater Canal and began planning Met 32, we were confident about the appeal of its waterside setting but we didn’t expect the entire opening phase to be sold from plan. In general terms the introduction of Help to Buy has rejuvenated the new homes market, but the sales performance at Met 32 represents an altogether higher level of demand. The fact that Prospect Homes are new to Altrincham makes the rate of sales even more impressive. There is clearly a great deal of demand for high quality new homes in the area.”

Met 32 comprises a total of 32 spacious house designs serving a variety of homebuying budgets and preferences. The development’s location is an ideal commuter base which lies within 20 minutes of Manchester city centre via the Metrolink service. Prospective purchasers can find out more about Met 32 by contacting the sales negotiator from Thursday to Monday, between 10am and 5pm on 0845 548 0323 or Prospect Homes’ head office (weekdays) on 0151 448 5720. Details are also online at www.prospectgb.com.
