New Container Logistics service to boost revenues for Bradford-based Advanced Supply Chain
A fast growing logistics firm is expecting a new service to generate revenues of more than £1m within its first year.
Bradford-based Advanced Supply Chain has launched a Container Logistics service, which has already proved popular with its big brand, blue chip client base.
The global end-to-end supply chain provider, which was named as one of the London Stock Exchange’s ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Britain’, is forecasting it will handle 40 loads as part of the new service each week, amassing approximately £1.1million in revenues.
The container logistics service will utilise Advanced Supply Chain’s impressive fleet of vehicles. It will forge closer links between the transport and freight forwarding divisions of the business, further enhancing Advanced’s industry leading end-to-end solution.
Mick Danby, CEO at Advanced said: “It makes absolute sense for the business to launch this new service at this time. We are consistently innovative and breaking new ground in all aspects of the supply chain, in an effort to maximise efficiencies for our customers and maintain our position within the industry.
“We already had substantial infrastructure advantages which made container logistics a relatively simple addition to the range of end-to-end services we are now able to offer.”
Advanced Supply Chain’s offer includes more than 1.4million sq. ft. of storage, warehousing and distribution space, across 8 UK sites. The firm handles 3.5million parcels a year, within more than 200,000 collections and deliveries.
