Yorkshire agency expands with relocation to larger premises

Capital B Media, a PR and media training agency in Yorkshire, is relocating to larger premises as part of its expansion plans.

The agency, which is based near Penistone, has seen significant growth after gaining seven new clients since the year began and is now looking to hire new members of staff.

As its turnover has also increased by approximately 30% in the last twelve months, the agency is moving to a larger neighbouring office at Bullhouse Mill at Easter.

Capital B Media has a number of high profile PR clients, including Enterprising Barnsley, financial planning company Future Life Wealth Management, Kate Rusby’s Underneath the Stars festival and Magna Science Adventure Centre.

Media training clients include South Yorkshire Fire, Sheffield Teaching Hospitals, the Pensions Regulator and the Care Quality Commission.

Kate Betts, director of Capital B Media, said: “We have won several new accounts recently, taken on a new account director and are about to take on an admin executive, so we definitely need more space.”

The agency has been based at The Old Corn Mill at Bullhouse Mill for the past three years.

“It’s a great space to work in and we didn’t want to move. So we jumped at the chance of a bigger office in the same building. We have the added benefit of being based in a beautiful rural location, but close to the motorway network so that we can easily reach our clients.”

The agency currently has a staff of five and works with an extensive team of associates who each have expertise in writing, filming, photography or media training.

Capital B’s existing offices will be taken over by John Smith of Creativesmith design and advertising agency, and Andrew Painten of Fluent Films, which produces high quality corporate video.

Kate added: “There will be some great opportunities to collaborate with John and Andrew. It will be good to have their expertise close to hand.”
