Liverpool salon provides pre-races Pin-Up Parlour
With the Grand National just over a week away, a Liverpool beauty salon is becoming a haven for female racegoers.
Water Street’s Beauty and Holistic Lounge has been busy pampering hundreds of customers ahead of the popular Aintree event that kicks off next Thursday (April 9).
Director Lisa Graham said: “When we moved into our larger salon earlier this year, one of our favourite new rooms was the Pin-Up Parlour, which gives our customers the perfect space to transform themselves, truly making us a ’one-stop beauty shop’.
“After receiving that all-important pre-races pamper, our customers can then change into their outfits in our beautiful Pin-Up Parlour, take a selfie or two and even jump on the train to Aintree with Moorfields Station being just a stone throw away.
“Whilst our Pin-Up Parlour is perfect for events such as Aintree Races, many businesswomen also come in for pampering before or after work – it even became an instant hit with the Lord Major Cllr Erica Kemp when she officially unveiled our new venue for us!“
Originally established in 2007 by the mother and daughter-in-law duo, Karen and Lisa Graham - the leading Liverpool beauty specialists has recently undergone an impressive five-figure sum investment to enhance its overall offerings.
To maintain its reputation of being a ‘one-stop shop’ for both women and men’s hair and beauty needs - the new venue showcases a range of state-of-the-art treatment stations including a bespoke Lycon chocolate wax room, in addition to an über-stylish décor.
Karen added: “Our new salon captures who we are and what we do. We offer customers the feeling of fabulousness whilst also providing comfort and relaxation. We are a warm, welcoming family-run business and try our best to make the clients feel right at home.“
