Sale-based IS Recruitment merges with Saxus Solutions
Sale-based IS Recruitment has merged with Saxus Solutions with support from Natwest.
Both companies specialise in IT recruitment, and a total of 20 people are employed by the businesses which have offices in Manchester and London.
The new firm will support a range of customers located throughout the North West, the UK and Europe, and new jobs are expected to be created in the months ahead in both Manchester and London.
Mike Smith, principal founder of Saxus Solutions, and Iain Brassell, managing director of IS Recruitment have known each other for a number of years and were waiting for the right opportunity to bring the businesses together.
Mike said: “The merger will bring an extensive range of expertise and knowledge to our customers, which means we can provide a recruitment and staffing service of an extremely high standard.”
NatWest senior relationship manager John Platt provided funding to support the merger.
Iain said: “John and NatWest have an excellent understanding of our businesses and the sectors in which we operate in.
“This expertise is incredibly valuable to us as we move forward with the business.”
John said: “I was delighted to support the merger of IS Recruitment and Saxus Solutions which brings two well-established specialist recruitment businesses together.
“I wish them every success for the future.”
