Bacup residential care home sells for undisclosed sum
Burwood Residential Care Home in Bacup, Lancashire has sold for an undisclosed sum.
The deal was arranged by regional law firm Thomas Guise, selling agents Aldridge Care Homes and Windless Solicitors.
Burwood Residential Care Home’s CEO Katie Singam said: “Having provided a high standard of care at Burwood over many years, we reluctantly came to the conclusion that the care home was not a good fit with our future business strategy.
“However, we are pleased to have secured a sale to very experienced operators who will, we are sure, provide the very best quality of care in the future.”
“I am also grateful to the agents and solicitors acting for both sides who enabled the transaction to proceed smoothly and swiftly”
Director of Thomas Guise, Wayne Thomas, said: “Working closely with our client and the rest of the team enabled us to provide a smooth transaction for our clients with a favourable outcome.
“As Care Home specialists our in-depth knowledge and experience means that we can immediately deal with any complex issues that arise.
“We are extremely pleased with the result”.
