Hexham House for sale
Hexham House for sale
Northumberland County Council has instructed Knight Frank to sell, by formal tender, Hexham House, a substantial Grade 11 listed building, and the adjoining property at 2 Gilesgate. Together they provide 7,547 sq ft of space previously used as office accommodation.
James Platts, partner, residential agency, Knight Frank says the properties will be sold as one lot but that there is considerable flexibility with regard to future use subject to planning.
“Both buildings could work well as one or equally efficiently as two properties. Unquestionably their position on Gilesgate, with open views over Sele Park and Hexham Abbey and their size makes a very interesting redevelopment opportunity,” says Mr. Platts.
The properties are freehold and are to be sold with the benefit of vacant possession.
