Goldthorpe glass manufacturer reaches century landmark
Window manufacturers Building Product Solutions, based in Goldthorpe, are now on 100 residential development sites across the North of England.
The windows and doors manufacturers, which formed in 2009 during a double-dip recession, also has an order book of around £10m after winning long-term contracts to supply major housing developers such as Taylor Wimpey, Gleeson, Persimmon and Redrow Homes.
Building Product Solutions is currently expected to achieve a turnover of £3.3m this financial year – up from £2.4m the previous year.
The company has recently completed the build of a glass plant, bringing its entire production operation in house and created 17 new jobs.
Ian Harrison, managing director of Building Product Solutions, said: “Reaching this milestone is an outstanding achievement and a true testament to how the whole team work here at Building Product Solutions.
“To start during a double-dip recession and to now be live on 100 sites shows how our reputation is building. Our recent investments in extending our premises, new production equipment and people is a reflection of how the business has developed over the past six years and our commitment to further growth. Here’s to the next 100 sites!”
