Leeds’ thebigword continues global expansion with Italy office opening

Leeds-based thebigword, a technology-driven language solutions company, is continuing its global expansion with the opening of an office in Modena, Italy.

The new office will be run by Rocco Filomeno, who is now the company’s sales director for Southern Europe, covering Italy, France and Spain.

Rocco, who has over 20 years of experience in the language services industry, will be focusing on business growth and client service in these regions.

As one of the leading technology-driven language solutions companies, thebigword provides translation and interpreting solutions across the globe through purpose built technology systems.

The launch of Leeds-headquartered company’s new Italian office is part of its global offering expansion plans, taking thebigword closer to becoming one of the top five language service providers in the world.

As well as operating out of Leeds, thebigword also has offices in New York, Dusseldorf, Tokyo, The Hague and Istanbul. The company provides language technology and language services to clients across a range of sectors, including defence, travel and leisure, manufacturing, retail and eCommerce, private healthcare and the public sector.
