Group Motiva-ted to Relay for Dougie Mac
A team of 12 fundraisers from Motiva Group are taking on the Potteries Marathon in three relay teams to raise funds for Douglas Macmillan Hospice.
The run which takes place on Sunday 5th July, returns after a decade hiatus will take runners right across North Staffordshire after starting at Trentham Gardens in a 26.1 mile route.
Kirstie Jones from Motiva Group commented,
“Douglas Macmillan Hospice are an amazing local charity that we’re sure has supported every single one of us at some point in our lives either through family, friends, colleagues or neighbours.
“Motiva Group are proud to be a part of fundraising for a charity that is a cornerstone of our local community.”
Chris Root, Fundraising Manager added,
“We would like to thank the team at Motiva Group for their support in this year’s Potteries Marathon.
“It is going to be an extreme challenge and we wish them all the best.
“All monies raised will help the Hospice continue to care for local adults of North Staffordshire facing all life limiting conditions.”
