More flights operate on time at Liverpool John Lennon Airport
Recent research has shown that passengers travelling from Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LJLA) are more likely to have their flights operate on time compared to flights operating from 10 other top UK airports.
Research by the Civil Aviation Authority shows that the overall on-time performance of scheduled flights for all of the UK was 79%.
However LJLA showed 90% of its flights operated on time.
LJLA has also seen a 5% increase in passenger numbers, showing an upsurge in popularity for the airport.
Operations director for LJLA, Colin Swaine, said: “Staff here at Liverpool work hard to ensure that flights operate on time focusing on key operational aspects of the business to give our airline customers the highest levels of service.
“This hard work continues to really pay dividends for our passengers too, who can book with confidence, knowing that more flights operate on time from here than at many of our competitors.”
