Rhinos teams up with Leeds Bradford Airport for fan benefiting deal
Leeds Bradford Airport has become Super League leaders Leeds Rhinos’ official airport as part of a brand new partnership.
As announced on Rhino’s official website, this new venture will feature the airport offer fans and their families exclusive deals, competitions and chances to win flights.
David Gornall, Leeds Bradford Airport’s commercial director, stated that the partnership will is set to benefit both organisations as well as Rhinos fans.
Mr Gornall said: “There are numerous reasons why we think Rhinos supporters will like Leeds Bradford Airport, such as our free unlimited superfast Wi-Fi, our luxury Yorkshire Premier Lounge, contemporary bars and restaurants, and convenient on-site parking.”
Gary Hetherington, chief executive of Leeds Rhinos, added: “I know that Leeds Bradford® Airport are committed to creating an outstanding regional airport connecting Yorkshire to the world and we have seen in recent years how powerful sport can be to spread the word about our region.

Liam Sutcliffe, Leeds Rhinos star, also commented: “The whole team were at the airport recently for our trip to Perpignan to play Catalans Dragons and the brilliant service we received certainly helped kick start our day and helped us get the victory over in France. I am sure our fans will enjoy seeing the links with the Rhinos when they head off on their holidays from Leeds Bradford this summer.”
