M&E Installation 'Just What The Doctor Ordered' For Derby Based Colt Engineering
Derby based Colt Engineering has been awarded a prestigious contract to provide the Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) installation work at the multi million pound renovation of Sysmex House in Milton Keynes.
Known as the UK Head Office for the Japanese firm, Sysmex UK LTD, Colt Engineering tendered for the design and build project at Sysmex House back in December, and have been finally given the green light to start work.
Pride Park based Colt Engineering will now send a team of 20 engineers to the site, so that work can begin on May 26, with completion expected within 21 weeks.
Managing Director at Colt Engineering, Simon Colton, said: “We are delighted to announce that we have secured the contract to provide M&E work at Sysmex UK’s head office.”
Under the new contract, Colt Engineering will be installing new energy efficient LED lighting, accesscontrol system, fire alarm system and VRF heating and cooling system.
Sysmex UK Ltd is a leading distributor and support network for Sysmex automated haematology and coagulation diagnostic analysers, reagents and information systems for laboratories and healthcare facilities within the UK and Ireland.
Simon Colton added: “We are all very much looking forward to delivering this project on time and to a high specification. The team at Colt sees this latest win as a catalyst in the development of Colt Engineering becoming an established M&E company.”
