Bradford Society of Chartered Accountants elects new President
Today it was announced that Tim Parr, a tax partner at Baker Tilly, has been elected to take over from Alan Wintersgill as the new President of the Bradford Society of Chartered Accountants.
Tim, a Bristol University law graduate (1982), is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser, who is based at Baker Tilly’s offices in Leeds.
Tim’s particular speciality is in remuneration planning and advising on the usage of limited liability partnerships (LLPs). Throughout his career, Tim has gained a reputation as one of the foremost experts in the UK on the taxation of LLPs.
Representing around 850 members in Bradford and Craven in North Yorkshire, the Society organises a number of social and technical events for members throughout the year.
Commenting on being elected, Tim said: “It’s a great privilege to be elected as President of the Bradford Society of Chartered Accountants.
“We have an exciting programme of events lined up for the coming year, and I am particularly looking forward to helping support our younger members with their professional development.”
