McLintocks Golf League Raises Funds for Nightingale Hospice
Chester estate agents, bankers, accountants, financial planners and lawyers have entered teams for the McLintocks Golf League for 2015 to raise funds for Nightingale House Hospice.
The first leg of the competition got underway on the May 28th at Chester Golf Club. The format this year is individual Stableford, full handicap. There will be three fixtures and the best total aggregate score will win the league and a coveted trophy.
Teams from BA Commercial, Jolliffe & Co, Illingworth Seddon, Allington Hughes Law, McLintocks Chartered Accountants, Aaron & Partners, Nat West, Barclays, Walker Smith Way, Handelsbanken, HSBC, McLintocks Wealth Management, DTM Legal and Knights LLP have entered.
After round 1, on a difficult scoring day, Peter Overmeer from Jolliffes and Justin Rice Jones from BA Commercial were in front with 34 points, with Jonathan Seddon second on 33 points, with Mike Caputo and Louie Middlehurst next on 32……so all to play for.
Mike Caputo, Director at McLintocks, said: “We are delighted with the support from fellow professionals in Chester, who really enjoy this golf format and are helping towards such a good cause - Nightingale House - which provides superb palliative care for so many people, along with support for their families.”
