William Developments appoints operations director
Residential property development and management company, William Developments, has promoted Julian Roper to Operations Director.
A graduate of John Moores University, Roper joined William Developments last year from Nikal Property Development & Investment in Manchester where he was a building surveyor.
Over the last 18 months, Roper has been responsible for the project management of a number of the company’s developments including Earle Studios in Liverpool, an old pub which has been converted into 16 student apartments. He is currently overseeing the refurbishment of Bracken House in Manchester, a 12 month build which will transform an old office block into 114 apartments.
Speaking about his promotion, Roper said, “I’m delighted to have joined the team at such an exciting time. The property market has really picked up over the past 18 months and we are now busier than ever with a variety of projects underway.
“Our focus is the North West and the Manchester and Liverpool property markets are currently extremely vibrant with a lot of inward investment. The creation of the Northern Powerhouse will enhance the attractiveness of the North and we are looking forward to a sustained period of growth in the business.”
