National appointment win for Newcastle law firm Muckle
Newcastle-based commercial law firm Muckle LLP has been appointed to the national legal panel of NG Bailey, the largest independent engineering, construction and services firm in the UK.
NG Bailey recently secured a £12.5m contract to help create a new flagship project office for Subsea 7, one of the world’s leading global contractors in seabed-to-surface engineering, construction and services to the offshore industry.
The company employs 2,600 people at 15 locations spanning the length and breadth of the UK and the Group has been highlighted as “one to watch” by the Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For.
Scott McKinnell, general counsel, NG Bailey, said: “We are delighted to welcome Muckle LLP, specialist legal services providers to NG Bailey.
“As the leading independent engineering, IT and facilities services business in the UK, our need for technical legal consultants across our specific business areas are paramount and we look forward to what we hope will be a modern, long term and mutually beneficial business relationship.”
Muckle LLP’s Stephen McNicol, Client Relationship Partner for NG Bailey, said: “We are extremely proud to be able to say that we work with NG Bailey.
“It is a great family-owned business with a fantastic international reputation for quality and excellent service. Importantly there is a good cultural fit between our two organisations and my sincere hope is that it will form the basis for a long and mutually rewarding relationship.”
