Sheffield forging manufacturer improves efficiency with new technology

Independent Forgings and Alloys, based in Sheffield, has teamed with local firm Azzure IT to transform its operations with a fully customisable Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software solution.

The Microsoft Dynamics NAV software provided by Azzure IT has streamlined Independent Forgings and Alloys’ business processes across manufacturing, planning, purchasing and accounting, saving the company both time and money.

Operating from a four acre site, the forging manufacturer creates high specification components for global markets including aerospace, defence, energy and nuclear power.
