Paul Ricks appointed site manager at Watchfield development
Paul Ricks is overseeing construction at Barratt Homes’ new Meadow View development in Watchfield where work is underway to create 100 new homes.
Paul, who lives in nearby Swindon, began working with the housebuilder 10 years ago and has overseen some iconic developments during the last decade - including The Zone in Bristol.
He says Meadow View is one of the finest sites he’s worked on and he’s pleased to be creating a great new community next to the existing village. Part of his responsibilities have included looking after the ecology of the site.
“We have worked closely with the parish council and ecologists to find new homes close to the development for some of the wildlife here - including newts and grass snakes. It’s created a mini nature reserve, which is excellent for those who will live here.”
Barratt Homes managing director Russell Glimstead said, “Site managers such as Paul play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality new homes and it is this quality which should inspire confidence in our buyers.”
The new homes at Meadow View in Watchfield is due to be unveiled in October this year.
