TIBCO on Cloud Nine after influential award win
TIBCO Software has triumphed at the coveted 3rd Annual Cloud World Series Awards, winning the ‘Best Cloud Application’ category for its pioneering analytics software.
TIBCO Spotfire® Cloud was unveiled as a winner at the Awards Ceremony that took place during the 7th Cloud World Series in London at Olympia Grand on June 24th, where industry leaders had gathered to celebrate the most innovative solutions in global Cloud computing.
Hosted by Business Applications Editor at Computer Weekly, Brian McKenna, the awards comprise six categories covering all services in the cloud ecosystem and were judged by world class experts in Cloud Computing, who independently selected the shortlist and the winners.
For TIBCO, the accolade is high-profile recognition of the business intelligence and analytics software which has already established itself as a truly transformative tool for customers who require their data in the cloud.
Designed for data exploration, the solution empowers users to compare information in different visualisations and share insight, including smaller companies for whom this kind of offering traditionally has been prohibitively expensive.
In successfully demonstrating the delivery of scalable, efficient and cost-effective applications, TIBCO’s solution saw off strong competition in the category from NetSuite and Cloudfind.
Commenting on TIBCO’s success, Brian Gentile, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Analytics for TIBCO Software said: “As the awards bring together the industry leaders and experts who have driven development in Cloud over the past year, it is with great pride that TIBCO has been recognised for its role in delivering world-class Cloud solutions.”
Gentile added: “Long before the Cloud World Forum recognised the strength and agility of TIBCO Spotfire Cloud, our many customers have been reaping the rewards of this market-leading software as a service analytics solution.”
