Crown Fine Art awards local pupils for excellent artwork
Artistic pupils from Harris Primary Academy Peckham Park school have been rewarded for their depictions of the global art transport market by local company Crown Fine Art.
Crown Fine Art, fine art logistics experts, recently taught the pupils about transporting and installing art before inviting them to create their own artworks. Ten of the best were then awarded certificates and WHSmith vouchers during Crown’s follow-up visit on Thursday 18 June where the school was presented with a camera to help with its future artistic endeavours.
Sandrine Caël, Head of the Art department, Harris Primary Academy Peckham Park comments: “It has been a fascinating insight for the children, learning about how art is transported internationally and it is evident that we have some talented young artists in our school.”
David Gosling, Technical Project Manager, says: “We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the school, giving back to the local community and hopefully inspiring the pupils to understand that art is there for all. We look forward to extending the programme to other schools”.
