Gatwick Airport partners with SerVision to improve CCTV systems
SerVision, a provider of mobile live video streaming over wireless and cellular networks, has announced that after the completion of successful trials, it has secured a deal with Gatwick Airport.
The technology firm will supply the airport’s live mobile CCTV systems and monthly data services to enhance, secure and protect the mobile assets of the airfield operations.
Gatwick Airport has an approximate fleet size of 300 vehicles. An initial purchase order valued at approximately £20,000 has been placed by Gatwick Airport for the installation of SerVision’s MVG400 units in 12 vehicles in the airport’s airfield operations.
The order with Gatwick Airport is the first to be undertaken by SerVision’s new UK-based management team which will be providing commercial and technical support to companies nationwide. The firm also intends to open a UK office, located in Manchester, in the near future.
Gideon Tahan, Chairman and CEO, said, “I am extremely pleased that Gatwick Airport has formally approved SerVision as an official supplier and chosen our unique solutions to enhance its operations. Additionally I am confident that having a direct presence in the UK will facilitate sustained growth and many new opportunities going forward.”
