Partnership Helps Students Build a Better Future

From keeping the Army working, moving and communicating, ex Royal Logistics Corps soldier, 27 year old Dan Storey from Crewe, has made a logistical move of his own with thanks to a unique mentoring partnership with housing association Aspire Housing.

Dan enrolled on the Brookhouse Training New Entrant Multi-Skilled Gas Engineer Course and is now the third student to benefit from a 30-day on-site mentoring programme between the gas training company and the housing association.

The Midlands based housing association manages around 9,000 homes and provides the ideal platform for Brookhouse Training students to develop a portfolio of evidenced work in a live domestic gas setting - a mandatory requirement to become a qualified Gas Engineer.

Simon Andrews, work experience manager at Brookhouse Training says: “We’d like to thank Aspire Housing for remaining committed to the mentoring programme and offering time and valuable expertise to our gas training students who are in the final stages of their ACS course.”
