MediaCityUK parkour centre sees profits and member numbers rise
North West fitness and obstacle course centre Evolve has increased its member numbers and profits after relocating to Greater Manchester’s MediaCityUK.
The company, which moved to the property several months ago, has reported seeing its profits rise by a fifth and the number of people using its services grow by 25%.
Evolve’s MD, Phil Hanna, said: “Relocating to MediaCityUK was a natural step for the company as we look to grow our customer base by 100% over the next 12 months.
“MediaCityUK is a great place to be – the number of businesses that are located here means we’ve got a huge number of potential new customers. It’s not just media and production companies – it’s residents and students and business that aren’t involved in the media industry that are setting up home here.”
Phil added: “There’s a great buzz around the place and you can see the impact on our business as member numbers have increased by 25% in the short period of time we have been here already.”
Evolve’s new facility comprises 2,000 sq ft of space and houses all of its services, which includes personal training, trapeze and parkour, under one roof. The company plans to launch a new event this year, the details of which will be revealed next month.
