Nissan’s Biggest Dealer Group Launches New Apprenticeship Scheme
NISSAN’S biggest dealer group has launched an exciting new training programme to find the top sales executives of the future.
West Way Nissan is working with national training provider, Retail Motor Industry Training (Remit), to recruit apprentices to work across its 15 showrooms.
The chosen candidates will have the opportunity to achieve a nationally recognised qualification as well as an attractive remuneration plus career progression and fantastic job benefits.
Clare Green, Client Services and Marketing Director at Remit, said: “We are excited to be working with West Way Nissan to deliver its apprenticeship programme and help in finding the right candidates that can grow with the group”
Andy Buswell, HR Manager for West Way Nissan, said: “This is a great opportunity for people considering working in the motor industry.
“Nissan is the fastest growing brand in the country right now so it’s the perfect time to be joining West Way.
“This apprenticeship scheme allows learners to gain nationally recognised qualifications, while gaining on-the-job experience in a dealership.
“New recruits will work alongside qualified car sales executives to learn about the vehicles they are selling, develop sales techniques and enhance their customer service skills to enable them to provide outstanding service.
“At the same time they can work towards achieving a nationally recognised qualification and gaining a wealth of experience. Each apprentice will have a dedicated mentor and enjoy the benefits of working with UK’s largest Nissan dealer group.”
West Way has dealerships at Aldershot, Altrincham, Basingstoke, Birmingham, Coventry, Hanwell, Manchester, Mill Hill, Oldham, Oxford, Rochdale, Southampton, Stockport, Stourbridge, and Wolverhampton.
Applicants need at least two A Level passes, grades A-C, along with a full driving licence.
Andy added: “West Way is looking for enthusiastic and passionate young individuals with an appetite to grow and develop. We want to help them reach their potential and achieve their ambitions. With a can-do attitude and the support of West Way Nissan’s nationally-recognised brand, we can help these apprentices build a successful career.”
