Construction firm ForWorks unlocks North West expansion with new contracts
Construction company ForWorks has achieved expansion in the North West after winning two development contracts in the region.
The Salford-headquartered firm has been chosen by Liverpool’s Pierhead Housing Association and First Choice Homes Oldham (FCHO) to carry out maintenance, repairs and adaptations.
ForWorks’ director, Steve Parrington, commented: “Over the last two years the company has cemented a strong reputation for delivering a first-class service to our social housing and commercial partners.
“Securing these contract wins marks another milestone in our ambitious growth plans and demonstrates we have the expertise, knowledge and resources to provide high quality professional services, which will also contribute to the positive transformation of more communities.”
In its new three-year contract with Pierhead Housing Association, ForWorks will work to prepare void properties for rental and provide an out-of-hours call-out service for 800 of the landlord’s homes in South Liverpool.
Meanwhile, the FCHO contract lasts until the end of October and will see ForWorks conducting repairs to roofing and fences, in addition to carrying out brickwork, joinery, plastering and plumbing projects.
Along with Villages Housing Trust and City West Housing Trust, ForWorks is a member of ForViva, which owns and manages 18k homes in the North West.
