JF Finnegan score at Wembley
Sheffield-based contractor and developer JF Finnegan has been awarded two contracts by Costco Wholesale UK Ltd for work close to the home of English football, Wembley Stadium.
Sheffield-based JF Finnegan has been appointed to build Costco’s 140,000 sq ft new membership warehouse club next to the stadium and is currently on site undertaking the remediation, site preparation and highways works.
When complete, the works will allow JF Finnegan to start its second contract, which will see the design completion and development of a 140,000 sq ft warehouse.
The new membership warehouse club is another addition to Costco’s growing presence in the UK, and the instruction continues a long-standing relationship between the leading wholesaler and JF Finnegan, which is currently constructing a 375,000 sq ft Costco distribution depot in Crick, Northamptonshire.
The Sheffield-based firm has also constructed several further depots across the UK.
Gary Smith, managing director of JF Finnegan, said: “The new membership warehouse club will be another impressive development for Costco UK and we are proud to be delivering it.”
