JCT600 invests £2m in Audi dealership redevelopment
JCT600, the Bradford-based new and used motor retailer, is investing £2m in the redevelopment of its Audi dealership on Doddington Road, Lincoln.
Work on the two acre site is already underway, with the project due to be completed by next spring.
The extensive redevelopment will include an extension, doubling the size of the existing showroom and customer areas which will incorporate a dedicated first floor service lounge as well as two bespoke vehicle handover rooms.
In addition, the new showroom will include the latest multimedia integration with interactive screens.
Mark Taylor, group property director of JCT600, said: “This is a huge project which will transform our Lincoln dealership, bringing it in line with Audi’s newest, state-of-the-art showroom design. One of the most unusual features will be a ‘customer private lounge’ concept which incorporates a relaxed interactive touch screen experience, enabling the customer to design their own new car.
“The refurbishment promises to enhance customers’ visits with many additional facilities as well as completely refreshing the showroom internally and externally. It will house the largest selection of Audi vehicles in Lincolnshire with over 80 new and pre-owned Audi cars on display.”
Lincoln Audi will remain open as usual during the redevelopment, with all departments being housed in neighbouring offices and in temporary on site accommodation.
Mr Taylor added: “Leading prestige car manufacturers like Audi are constantly looking for innovative ways of improving the retail experience for customers and this latest distinctive, high tech concept promises to be stunning, complementing Audi’s exciting range of vehicles.”
Audi Lincoln, which has operated for over 20 years and employs 100 staff, offers a full range of new and Audi-approved pre-owned vehicles as well as service and maintenance facilities.
JCT600, which is a family business with a history of over 60 years, has 50 dealerships throughout Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and the North East and sells 19 of the world’s most respected brands such as Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, BMW/MINI, Ferrari, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Vauxhall and Volkswagen.
