Big Motoring World to create 300 jobs in Kent
Big Motoring World is set to expand in Kent, creating 300 new jobs in the process.
The UK’s largest independent seller of BMW and Mercedes cars, which is headquartered in the region, has announced plans to expand following a record year for sales.
According to Car Deal Magazine, the company saw record sales figures and growth across all three of its sites in West Malling and both of its Canterbury branches in the first two quarters of 2015.
As part of a four-year plan, Big Motoring World plans to increase the number of employees to 550 by 2019.
Peter Waddell, founder and CEO of Big Motoring World, said: “We are delighted with how the first phase is progressing and we are looking forward to working with the relevant councils in the months to come.
“Our expansion will help propel the business into the next stage of its development. We are excited about providing more job opportunities in Kent and becoming one of the key employers in the area.”
