Stockport accountants Hallidays appointed Corporate Finance Network representative
Greater Manchester-based accountancy firm Hallidays has become the sole representative of South Manchester and North Cheshire for The Corporate Finance Network.
The Stockport firm believes the appointment will enhance its ability to help clients raise finance, undertake mergers and acquisitions and carry out effective exit planning.
Hallidays’ managing director, Nigel Bennett, said: “As a busy, regional team, we are always looking for ways to make our services more efficient and effective for our clients.
“We will gain access to many specialised resources and contacts by joining The Corporate Finance Network, and we believe this will give us all the additional benefits that are normally only enjoyed by the largest, national firms in the UK, thereby giving us an advantage over our regional counterparts.”
Established in 1843, Hallidays specialises in accountancy, taxation, business growth, wealth management and providing SMEs, charities, academies and credit unions with HR and IT support.
Kirsty McGregor, a chairman with The Corporate Finance Network, commented: “I’m delighted that Hallidays has been appointed to represent us in the South Manchester area.
“They have been on my radar for several years, and this market is a key area where we needed to appoint the best firm to protect our brand for being the experts in SME corporate finance advice.”
She added: “I’m looking forward to sharing our resources with Nigel and his team, to further enhance the growth of their corporate finance service.”
