Mactech Appoint New Payroll Manager

Mactech Inspection Limited, supplier of specialised inspection services and personnel, has named Pat Harrison as its new Payroll Manager.

Within in this newly created position, Pat will be responsible for all things related to tax, compliance, support and procedural running of the Payroll Department. This will be a challenging role as her remit is to not only be responsible for the current payroll data, but she will need to develop the company’s systems to allow future growth to flourish.

“The expansion of our finance team demonstrates Mactech’s commitment to our growth strategy” noted Andrew McFarlane, Managing Director. “Pat’s comprehensive understanding and experience of developing and strengthening payroll systems will benefit the company greatly and allow us to expand at the rate we have planned” Mr McFarlane added.

Pat has over 30 years’ experience within Payroll. Most recently spending nearly nine years as Payroll and Pensions Manager at Vertu Motors plc, where she managed a seamless centralisation of eight regional payrolls and the acquisition of a further 37 dealerships.

Upon joining the company Pat stated “I am thrilled to be part of the Mactech team with its roots firmly based in the North East and am looking forward to the challenges ahead.”
