Newcastle-headquartered Fairstone joins APFA to continue development

The Association of Professional Financial Advisers (APFA), the representative body for the financial adviser profession, has announced North East-based Fairstone Financial Management as a new member of the organisation.

Fairstone Financial Management, part of the Fairstone Group, is a national firm of Independent Financial Advisers, headquartered in Newcastle, with offices across in London, Bristol and Belfast.

The firm, which has over 230 advisers, and recently became one of the largest chartered financial planning firms in the UK when it achieved Corporate Chartered status from the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Chris Hannant, Director General at APFA, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Fairstone to APFA. It is critical that the industry speaks with one voice when campaigning on important issues. Fairstone is an innovative, growing business which we believe will bring fresh insight and support to our efforts to secure a better deal for advisers.”
