Knaresborough’s Vital Network Solutions signs security deal with Webroot
Vital Network Solutions has entered into a partnership agreement with Webroot, a real-time internet security program for consumers, businesses and enterprises.
The new deal will strengthen Knaresborough-based Vital’s existing range of IT support and managed security services.
Technology giants such as Microsoft, Cisco and Palo Alto Networks use Webroot to provide advanced internet threat protection for their products and services.
Lee Evans, managing director of Vital Network Solutions, said: “By integrating solutions powered by cloud-based threat intelligence from Webroot we can substantially increase our clients’ risk awareness and resilience to protect their ever increasing number of systems that are connected to the outside world.”
In addition to IT support and managed security services, Vital also provides business continuity, backup and disaster recovery, cloud and hosted services along with cloud-based Microsoft’s Office 365 and Azure products.
Webroot’s internet security protects all the ways that people connect online in real-time through its BrightCloud security intelligence platform and its SecureAnywhere suite of security products for endpoints, mobile devices and corporate networks.
