Newcastle’s Gradvert to launch novel graduate rail scheme for The Go- Ahead Group
Newcastle-based Gradvert has announced that it will be launching a graduate rail scheme, the first of its kind, for transport operator The Go- Ahead Group this month.
The graduate recruitment agency, which also boasts a London office, specialises in the development of graduate schemes and training programmes, supporting organisations in attracting new talent and up-skilling existing teams.
Launched in 2012, Gradvert began life in a coaching capacity as a way to help graduates achieve success in their early careers. A recruitment side to the business followed after the company’s increased presence in the market led to approaches by organisations to pass on candidates for graduate vacancies.
Michaela Reaney, Managing Director at Gradvert, said: “We are delighted to be working with Go- Ahead for the fourth year on developing their first rail graduate programme. It is a wonderful opportunity for the business to develop future talent, and a fantastic programme for a dedicated graduate to kick start their career.”
Anne Venning, Group Talent Manager at Go- Ahead Rail, added: “Go-Ahead is committed to developing the next generation of talented business leaders. The new Graduate Rail Programme signifies a key investment in the future of our company and we are pleased to have partnered with Gradvert to deliver this.”
