Pugh & Co. sales approach £10m in October
North West firm Pugh & Co. Auctions came close to taking £10m at its latest property auctions.
Sales generated at the auction house’s October events, held at Leed United Football Club and Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium, reached £9.75m across 180 lots.
Pugh & Co.’s managing director, Paul Thompson, said: “It was very pleasing to see such a strong set of results and a sale rate of over 70%.
“Investors and developers are showing increased levels of interest with such a wide breadth of property on offer and we look forward to continued success for the remainder of the year.”
The auction saw Lancashire County Council secure a buyer for a piece of residential development land it had previously been unable to sell off.
The last 2015 auction to be held in the North West by Pugh & Co., which operates from an office in Newton-le-Willows, Merseyside, is scheduled for December 3.
