Brighton startup Brandwatch secures $33m to grow its US operations
Social media monitoring startup Brandwatch, which made its debut on The Sunday Times’ tech league table back in September, has secured a multi-million dollar boost to unlock growth in the US.
According to a report by Startups, the Brighton-based company has completed a Series C funding round for $33m (around £21.4m) to expand its operations across the Atlantic.
Now, the firm plans to use the additional cash to shore up its core product, make strategic partnerships and establish new overseas offices.
Brandwatch is no stranger to receiving financial report for its presence in the US, having won a $22bn Series B round last year.
Since it was founded in 2007, Brandwatch has grown into global business with operations in Europe, the US and South East Asia.
