Camera shop Jessops to open new Preston branch
National photographic retailer Jessops is expanding its operations in Lancashire this week with the launch of a new shop in Preston.
The branch will open its doors this Friday (November 13) on the lower floor of St George’s Shopping Centre.
Mark Dickaty, the store manager, said: “We are so excited to open the doors of our brand new store here in Preston.
“The store is looking incredibly smart, and we can’t wait for customers to start arriving so that we can showcase our latest products and services.”
He added: “We are confident that our team will do a fantastic job to make customers feel that they have received more than they came in for.”
The announcement follows a number of new store openings at the shopping centre ahead of the busy Christmas season, including a Danish retailerand a national toy shop.
The general manager at St George’s Shopping Centre, Andrew Stringer, commented: “Welcoming another popular national brand into the shopping centre before Christmas not only strengthens our offer to shoppers, but also further demonstrates our ability to attract big name brands to boost the shopping experience at both St George’s and the city as a whole.”
In addition to selling cameras and accessories, Jessops’ Preston branch will offer sensor cleaning, trade-in services and academy training courses for budding photographers.
