Yorkshire firms to access export opportunities in November roadshow
As part of the government’s new five-year campaign to boost UK exports, companies in Yorkshire and the Humber will this month have a number of options for exploring the export opportunities available.
A roadshow run by the Exporting is GREAT campaign will be making a series of stops in the region throughout November, offering local companies the chance to discuss exporting with an international trade advisor and find out how their business could grow through overseas trading.
The campaign, spearheaded by the government’s UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) department, will see the truck visiting Wellington Place in Leeds on November 23 and 24, Queens Dock Avenue in Hull on November 25 and Rotherham’s Advanced Manufacturing Park on November 26 and 27, finishing up in Harrogate Pavilion on November 30.
UKTI’s regional director for Yorkshire and the Humber, Mark Robson, said: “As the world becomes ever more globalised and digital, the potential for businesses of all sizes to reach out to new customers and lucrative new markets beyond the UK has never been greater.”
Elsewhere, UKTI is hosting a roundtable event this Friday (November 13) in at Elizabeth House in Leeds titled Global Markets: Global Opportunities, in partnership with Clarion Solicitors.
